Reporting to the Senior Key Account Manager, you will work closely to support activities on a group of five of the firm’s most strategic and complex relationships. Skills and experience:

You will have solid support experience, ideally gained in a client-led professional services environment.
Advanced Microsoft Office and Client Relationship Management system skills are important.
Sharepoint or equivalent portal design and maintenance skills would also be advantageous.
You will have a strong client service ethic and will possess the confidence to interact with the client partners and senior colleagues. You will have proven capability in producing client facing materials to an excellent standard of quality and will be confident in dealing with financial information. Your meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is essential, and you will be skilled at reviewing and summarising information in order to produce reports.
You will be deadline orientated and can work under pressure with a well-organised and methodical approach. Ideally you will demonstrate skills applying structure and process to ensure rigour in approach and be adept in recording and keeping track of large amounts of client information.

My client, a major high-street retailer based in London is currently recruiting for a SQL Business Intelligence Developer (SSRS, SSAS, and T-SQL) for a 6 month contract.

You will be working with their MI & Reporting team which is primarily responsible for Data Warehousing and associated reporting infrastructures, and is also expected to deliver reports using data from the wider range of information systems within the company.

The Datawarehouse is based on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 using Stored Procedures for daily ETL reporting solutions. They use some SQL Server Analysis Services cubes to drive business interaction (via SSRS and Excel), with a lot of the reporting delivered using Stored Procedure driven SSRS outputs.

There are also a significant number of business critical reports delivered via Business Objects XIr2/XI3 infrastructures. Distribution of these reports is mainly via PDF with the Query & Analysis tools only used by core analysts.

Key Personal Skills:

* Strong analytical and communication skills with the enthusiasm to learn the processes of a uniquely positioned business
* Detail oriented with strong organizational skills to effectively work in a dynamic environment
* Analytical, Problem solving, creative thinking and design skills alongside a desire to deliver robust, trusted, capable BI/MI solutions
