Avery Partners is currently seeking Meditech B/AR consultants for contract engagements. Consultants must have extensive experience with Meditech 5.5 and 5.6 Client Server environment. The work can be done on-site and remotely.

Candidate must be familiar with the Meditech B/AR application and the 5010 transactions and issues that can occur during a Meditech migration. Familiarity with Meditech dictionaries and setups is required.

Candidate will work with minimal supervision and must anticipate the needs of the client regarding details of the requirements.

Minimum experience include:

Meditech 5.55 and 5.65 experience
Two years of Meditech B/AR

Consultants are paid on a bi-weekly basis via Direct Deposit for hours worked. All allowable expenses are reimbursed bi-weekly.

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION

This position will provide a broad range of psychotherapeutic services including: initial and update mental health assessments and behavioral health individual counseling interventions under the direct supervision of Director of Medical and Acute Care Services. This position will complete a thorough psychosocial assessment to determine the behavior and emotional mental health symptoms; the medical necessity for on-going mental health services; and if Bridgeway is the most appropriate agency to meet the client’s mental health needs. Additionally, this position will provide on-going behavioral health individual counseling intervention utilizing a best-practice, evidenced-based short-term medical psychotherapy model(s).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Training, and/or Experience

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
2 years of relevant experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

LISW or LPCC, valid in the state of Ohio.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

4 years of relevant experience in community mental health setting and working with severely mentally disabled population.
Spanish-speaking ability, knowledge of Hispanic culture.
Certification in one or more evidenced-based, brief psychotherapy model(s)
Scope of Practive in Chemical Dependency
A valid Ohio Driver’s License, personal vehicle, appropriate driving record, and appropriate insurance coverage at all times.

The Patient Care Coordinator will provide inbound and outbound call support and best in class customer service to patients, physicians and physician’s office staff, who utilize the department for benefit investigation and prescription procurement services. Responsible for securing patient’s financials for their medications and assuring appropriate education materials are provided to the patient as requested.

Responsibilities:

Compound and dispense medical prescriptions.
Perform some clerical duties relating to the department as well as a variety of complicated tasks.
May lead and direct the work of others.
Available to take inbound calls from patients, physicians, and other customers and make outbound calls in a professional and customer friendly manner.
Capture patient specific clinical and financial information in a thorough and accurate manner that assures the most effective and appropriate processing of the patient’s medication.
Provide overview of product coverage to patient, including insurance benefit coverage, co-pay cards, and alternate forms of coverage.

Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least five years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Associate’s Degree preferred.
Previous experience in a call center environment, healthcare office or corporate setting, healthcare insurance provider or pharmacy is highly desirable.
Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician Certification required or CPHT accreditation preferred.
Desired familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge of pharmacy operations a plus.
Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Organization and problem solving skills required to handle multi faceted patient conversations and properly address patients needs.
Knowledge of reimbursement and healthcare billing is desired for the collections of receivables.
Knowledge of private payers, pharmacy benefits, medical benefits, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, alternate funding resources, and reimbursement processes a plus.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the PACS Administrator Level 2 or Radiology leadership, manages the operations of the PACS systems at the local facility and potentially multiple facilities to meet the clinical needs of the managing medical images and referring physicians’ expectations of receipt of diagnosis.

Accountable for data management and monitoring of the Quality Assurance for multi-facility PACS systems (Radiology and non-Radiology) software and hardware as well as being responsible for the resolution of the exception reports, reconciliations of inappropriate or misfiled accession number issues, unread images and inappropriate MRN demographics, and secure archival images. Maintain system workflow and standards that adhere to Regional guidelines.

Education/License/Certification:

Associate Degree, B.A. Degree preferred, in Business, Organizational Development, Informatics or Technology related fields. Two years of experience in Business, Organizational Development, Informatics or Technology related fields required.

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations that pertain to records retention, confidentiality and the release of medical records. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Strong verbal and written skills. Strong information technology and computer skills required. Previous computer and information data systems experience required. Database management and acquisition/implementation experience in a clinical environment preferred. DICOM, HL7 knowledge required. Previous IT experience or LAN Administrator experience preferred. Duties:

Implements PACS initiatives and changes. Responsible for working in collaboration with Biomedical Engineering in the planning, installation, execution, maintenance and support of PACS-related or PACS-impacted local projects.
Assists with system changes for electronic transcription; software and hardware upgrades as well as training for pertinent system changes.
Accountable for implementing and administering Northern California Regional Medical Image policies and procedures as it relates to the PACS systems goals and objectives. Accountable for establishing changes in workflow, communicating changes and providing quality assurance checks to ensure that standard practices are followed.
Performs audits, gathers statistics and prepares reports for management and quality improvement for Radiology and non-Radiology PACS systems.
