The individual will be responsible for support and upgrading of existing Call Center technologies to maintain an efficient call distribution system.This is a long-term contract position with the possibility of going permanent; but with no guarantee.

Salary 75k to 90K depending upon experience.

Requirements:
3+ years of CTI experience in a large scale telephony and call center environment

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS

Architect and drive the implementation of the automated testing platform for validating various business applications including JWS Apex, COMMANDseries, JD Edwards, Oracle E-business, Kronos, OnBase, etc.
Guide onshore and/or offshore resources on the automated testing development.
Define coding standards and test automation guidelines and ensure their implementation.
Builds test automation frameworks, reusable modules, and test tools.
Defines, develops, execute, review, and maintains manual and automated test scripts.
Decompose requirements and develop test automation for projects of simple to high complexity.
Develop automated solution implementation plans with defined milestones, timelines, and ROI calculation.
Work with development, Business, QA, and other Automation engineers to determine root cause of batch job execution problems while automating test cases.
Provide design documentation; participate in technical review for the test automation projects.
Provide metrics and project planning updates for the testing effort.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering with emphasis on Test Automation.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Scripting languages such as VBScript.
Minimum of 5 years of experience hands on in HP Quality Center and QTP/UFT.

The consultant will modify the current test region, including all enhancements to allow for system testing and user acceptance testing during the development phase to ensure that each module of the application operates as specified.

Consultant will be responsible for programming modifications required to resolve errors/omissions encountered during user unit testing and user acceptance testing.

Once the application is developed and passes user acceptance testing, the code will be migrated to the current production region creating an exact mirror image of the test region.

Consultant will re-populate the enhanced production region with existing application data.

The consultant will prepare written system documentation. The format of the required documentation will be mutually agreed upon between the consultant and the Client.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or any other equivalent degree with a minimum of seven (7) years of programming experience.
Have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in developing programs using Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and above.
Be proficient in writing web applications using ASP.NET and VB.NET. Proficiency in C# programming language will be considered as well instead of VB.NET.
Have experience in writing Web Services using .NET (this is a must).
Be an expert in writing efficient SQL queries and using stored procedures in SQLServer.
