DESCRIPTION

The Process Technician will work in a highly integrated and fast-paced interdisciplinary team on process scale up activities, process troubleshooting, and cGMP manufacture of clinical and commercial drug substance.

Responsibilities:

Execution of process operations according to SOPs.
Perform clear and concise documentation following relevant SOPs and electronic instructions.
Troubleshooting and resolution of equipment issues and process disruptions.
Developing and implementing process improvements, process monitoring, and supporting investigations.
Setup and evaluation of unit operations (daily and long-term).
Process executions and changeover.
Troubleshooting of process disturbances, identifying resolution and implementing corrective and preventive measures, as required.
Real Time assessment of process performance.
Ensure timely investigations of unexpected data and trends with the guidance of a people leader and/or group leader.
Assist in inventorying, tracking, maintenance scheduling, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and modify and/or create job related documentation.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
All documentation must be reviewed daily ensuring highest quality of documentation with identification and prevention of any process and compliance trends, as required.

Qualifications:

Willingness to work in a challenging environment that requires execution of new processes or stable processes.
Mechanical aptitude is a plus, as many operations require manual intervention as well as use of automation.
Familiarity with the Manufacturing Industry desired.
Must have ability to work as self-starter and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic cross-functional team based environment.
A minimum of a HS diploma with one to three years experience in a biopharmaceutical environment preferred.
Knowledge of cGMP, cell cultivation techniques, cell separation operation with TFF and/or centrifugation, column purification/membrane based operations, and equipment IQ, OQ, PQ approaches are desirable.
Time management and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

The Dispatcher will issue, schedule, assign, and dispatch emergency and non-emergency service orders to appropriate field personnel for completion. This is done by using Computer Aided Dispatch System.

Responsibilities

Review completed service orders for accuracy.
Receive and respond to customer inquiries and complaints in connection with various customer related matters involving new service requests, repair requests, meter change orders, change orders and general customer account information.
Effectively manage work to meet metric in the areas of Gas Leak Response, Service Appointments kept, and Customer Complaints.

Run Restoration Reports and log streets affected by a possible outage.
Operate and monitor a base radio station in compliance with FCC Regulations.

Operate computer systems associated with Customer Service Work.

Qualifications

One year of related experience with Customer Service, Dispatch, Natural Gas.
Familiarity with Customer Connection Information Systems.
Demonstrated ability to provide effective work direction to appropriate field personnel and operate a computer terminal.
A working knowledge of the Customer Service System and associated procedures and practices as they relate to the gas industry.
Ability to operate a base radio.
